MY SPACE IM comes up every-time i turn computer on. how do i get it to stop?

Try to find "preferences" at the top of the IM box. It should allow you to choose when you want to sign in to IM.

Click Tools at the very top then Internet Options. Now change your homepage to what you want to come up when you launch IE.
