Try books.google.com
You can read some full text books online, and some partly.

amazon.com has were you can read a chapter of some books.

readbooks.com

Read Full Text Books At:
onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu
www.pagebypagebooks.com

If you buy a E-book by soney, you can buy pre-paid cards and buy on-line. Or find full text books online for free from the Library…though, after a timeframe, the text will delete.

I don't think so, because then the companies wouldn't make any money, which is because you wouldn't have to buy the book.

PLEASE: The greatest site ever launched on the net is Gutenberg project. Please google it and you will find a wealth of on line books. And, please contribute to this project by volunteering to input a book. Eventually, their goal is, to have every written piece of literature of any kind on line.
