i always get zits around my nose and mouth when im about to get my period. why??

Hormonal changes associated with menses change your body's chemistry, which creates the perfect condition for zits.
Be glad it's just around your nose and mouth. I get them all over my face, and on my back, too. Grr.

Simply put
When you are menstruating the hormonal changes have all those consequences... and you look bad... but when you are ovulating you look gorgeous, this way we look great and more attractive to males... and our mood is oooo sweet... nature gave us this to keep the humankind alive.
