Depend on how many kids are there under your family...

For my side, i have 10 uncle and aunties, 20 overs sibilings, 10 over nephews etc.....
We have a big family...
If you are poor and yet you have so big family, $2 to $4 should be ok...
Someone have only one uncle and one auntie, and limited kids... $10 to $20 is ok ....

Well, it's all about giving.... for kids... let them happy bah....

During CNY, close relative $20, not so close ones and friends $8 and last of all dont forget the handworking maid $2. To them $2 is alot! For wedding, those who v close to me $100, common friends $60-80 depends on venue. Do check out my cute Ang Paos if you have not got enough for this CNY:

If you are giving it to someone who is very close to you, $10 would be okay. Even number is a must. No odd numbers pls.
If it's someone that's you are not friendly with, just an acquaintance, then $2-$4 would be okay.
During weddings- depending on where the wedding is held, at least a rate of $50-$168.
The same goes for birthday celebrations, baby shower etc.

The cash amount contained within is not important but is required to be of an even number as odd numbers are related to cash given during funerals.
