The beatles are NOT from the hippie era, they just sold out to it. If you recall eary in their career they had the mop top hair and suits, not hippy at all. I'm not sure what you mean by hippie era, if you mean the pshychadelic rock?? or just the late 60s early 70s period where the "hippie" era was prominent.
