they were formed in 1993 and broke up on Feb 22, 2005. they are from poway, a suburb near san diego. their original drummer was scott raynor, but in 1999 travis barker joined.

Here's what I would do:
1. Go to www.allmusic.com and search for them
2. Go to www.wikipedia.org and search for them
3. Google them and find fan sites or an offical band page
4. Listen to all their music to get a feel for them
5. Ask your friends since they know so much. Don't be embarrased that you want to get more into stuff they like. They'd probably love to tell you everything they know about the band, that's part of why they learned it.

Tom doesnt talk to Mark or Travis anyomore cuz he thinks hes better than everyone. Mark and travis are in the band (+44) and Tom is in Angels and Airwaves
