Why do people hate Family Guy? I know people are entitled to their own opinion, but seriously, how is it any different from the Simpsons? or South Park? or Futurama? I love all these shows, but why are people so SERIOUS about this show???

Family Guy is just stupid joke after stupid joke. Every episode they have to make fun of a common stereotype: Redneck...Black people etc...

I love family guy! Simpsons is pretty nrealistic, granted, so is Family Guy, but I think it shows the stupidity in all of us. Its less harsh than South Park, and not so intense making fun of certain groups. Simpsons I don't find that funny, and they've recently tried imitating Family Guy, with all the funny awkward-pause-filled flashbacks.

i love family guy but i think that the reason people hate it so much is bec it is so good....what i mean to say is that the simpsons has been around for like a million seasons so all the fans are very devoted, and now this new show comes on and takes the spotlight away....i think thats also the reason they finally went through with the simpsons movie

I love family guy. It's a really funny show. I like it more than the simpsons.

I used to think it was a stupid show, but I started watching it more over the last few months and think it's hilarious.....much like you said, the way they do off the wall stuff that makes you go "huh?" while you laugh your head off is a lot like South Park and other shows......Maybe it just hasn't grown on them yet, or they haven't hit a topic that is funny to them.

It's an excellent show in a league of it's own. I love it. Those who hate on it, probably take things too seriously. It's a show you have to laugh off.

Family guy is great, my boyfriend was watching it yesterday (trying to get over his hangover), i was doing housework around him and heard odd lines i was laughing my head off.
I highly recommend this show to anyone

Family Guy is freakin' hilarious...I don't know what people are bit**in' about if they don't like it change the channel.
