Yahoo is a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Yahoo! was founded in 1994 by David Filo and Jerry Yang as a project to help provide links to cool sites on the internet. Currently, it is valued at around $38 billion.
You too can own part of Yahoo! for only $28.35 a share (as of the close of the markets today).
