Morally I believe God is in control and should be the only one to give the gift of a child.

I think it's wrong and science should just work on a way to clone organ seperately if anything. Clone a lung or liver not a Billy or a Sarah. This is kinda the same as abortions. People are finding excuses to legally commit murder.. I think God did make us as smart as he did so that we could come up with these kind of abilities to improve our lives and live as happy as possible. But purposely stopping a life is murder and wrong any way you look at it.
So in summary, clone organs not entire humans, with personalities or not.

yes... and no.
cloning can be good for the earth's surplus population, such as cloning a cow or two. it an aslo be good because you can clone human organs and such. soem say that it is the next step in science while others say it is wrong, because of "playing god". the military want to clone humans for the army and that is just personal opinion, if you think its right or not. aslo they want to clone endangered and some extinct animals, the endangered is o.k. because these organisms are still living in our envonment, but the extinct ones can endanger it because they simply do not exist.
and as for the race horse thing i agree completely
so all in all it is realy just personal opinion.
hoped i helped

I think cloning is wrong at this matter of using it to make money. But cloning for me, all the way, is wrong. Unless you can seriously help other people by cloning, cloning is just some stupid stuff. We're individuals. And animals are individuals. They have the right to choose, don't they? But I don't think they do because people just clone these animals for money. What's the point to that anyway? Because it's like of like a horse racing against itself in the end.

I'm leaning more on wrong than right. Sure, the idea of growing human organs is a very nice thought, but in the long run, we don't want people living forever on cloned organs. Dying is just something that NEEDS to happen.
As for the human cloning/clone souls issue, I'm not even touching that one. Too creepy to comfortably concieve without actually trying it. :P lol

cloning individual organs and tissues for the betterment of the community and the total quality of life of the individual is not at all a bad idea, though it stirs up a nest of ethical issues; however, the cloning of a whole individual is introducing a completely new for of prejudice and inhumanity.
A cloned person probably would be looked upon as a non-person. They would be treated as slaves, sub-humans and machinery..made by man, to work in service to man. The basest of human rights would not be enjoyed by such people and they would also, by many, even be treated as soul-less creatures to be exploited and abused for personal gain...even the religious would run the risk of looking at such people as automatons devoid of spirit and unable to have the comfort and strength of being loved and valued by a higher-power.
It would be a race of throw-aways...I mean our many in our own society, treat our own children as throw-aways...think what atrocities a clone would be subject to.

WRONG. In my Health Science Ed. class we had a massive debate over this. Cloning humans is defeating the whole purpose of it. Why kill a life to create or save another? Doesn't make much sense. It is a waste of money and research. Plus, many people also say that "we could be immortal by cloning" If God wanted us to immortal, wouldn't he have made us that way? Plus, how in the world is it our place to decide who lives and who dies? Even you you don't believe in a higher power than humans - IT STILL ISN'T OUR PLACE!
Regardless of what defenses people try and throw up for cloning it is still LOGICALLY and MORALLY wrong.

I think its wrong, because that's just trying to play god. Also when they do such a thing there is always some messed up part from doing it.
Like an Error.
I think its not right. If something or someone dies that you really cared for....don't try to get it cloned. Living and dieing is LIFE! You have to accept it, if you can't then you need to go get help.
that's what i think.

I have no opinion of whether it is right or wrong.
However, the problem with cloning is that the cells are already aged when they are being cloned.
The best time to clone is at conception.

Depends what you clone. You can clone two Paris Hiltons but it would be wrong to clone Elton John or something.

Technology has always been a slippery slope. At some point, humanity has to draw lines not to be crossed. One day, we will have the technology to keep people alive forever, (we are doing it now somewhat with the medicalzation of death) but should we???? Short answer: wrong.
