I'm on a budget and I would like to find a computer thats not too pricey and can play games like elder scrolls, battefield 2142. It can be a desktop or laptop. Just not anything really expensive. All info and recommendations are appreciated.

Use Dell online, find one of there pc's for gaming and then to reduce the price get rid of the warranty, reduce the size of your hard disk, if you already have a monitor get them not to include a monitor, same as your mouse and keyboard, if you already have speakers dont get them included, if they are giving you vista choose XP instead to make more savings

You can try emachines, as Gateway offers more expensive systems. I'm not sure with Dell yet as I'm not familiar with their tech-support/customer service department on whether you can customize your system, but gateway and emac can.

Don't use Vista just yet. It's not compatible with some games.

Get yourself a Gateway, they are very reliable and yet not over priced. Emachines would be my 2ND choice.

Build your own that way you can manage price by only getting gaming attributes.
