Acting doesn't have a age requirement, it like a hobby. Many actors go in the industry late in their 20s or 30s and even 40s. It all varies. About making money, it can be rough not getting the parts in a film or even plays. One and a Millions people are Auditioning for your part. less than 1 % to be rich and get the part. So it most likely won't get the part. If you chooses this as a career, you need to understand the consequences. If you really have a passion go for it. Take a chance because who doesn't want to get paid what they love.

I'm going weith a genuine voice actor, so I am torn between Paul Freed (The Voice of Disney) and Thurl Ravenscroft (Tony the Tiger), although you cannot sell short Alexander Scourby (Victory at Sea)

George Carlin (yes, he acts too)! His voice is unmistakable.

I also liked the voice of John Forsyth (old show, "Bachelor Father," the voice of Charlie on the TV series "Charlie's Angels," and star of "Dynasty"
