How often should one defragmentize the disk drive? defragged mine about a month ago?

should i do it like say monthly? thanks in advance

I have two friends that both take Computer Network and Repair (a 3 hour class at a technical school), and they both say that it is ideal to do it once a week.

Weekly, if you move alot of files, download, delete, etc. If none of these apply then every two weeks...
