I was told a while ago that I seemed sensitive. I'm a really quiet and soft-spoken person. So how could one tell that you are a sensitive person, especially if you don't say much?

Maybe somebody saw you doing something sweet for someone and they they thought you were sensetive, cuz you were helping somebody.

Honestly, I'm am really quiet and am often told I seem to be emotionless. I don't carry around a lot of apathy or anything. I guess I often come off as being too serious.
It may be a common factor that people who socialize less hold those that they do socialize with more of an appreciation and emotional attachment.
I am more circumstantial and expect respect and compassion on higher levels to be earned. And not given out by the association factor.
Maybe you are giving suttle clues in your body posture. The voice can be a dead give away sometimes. People who are more dramatic in speech in anyway can appear to be emotional effected by things.

Maybe you are shy. Somtimes it good to be shy because that proves that you are a trustworthy friend and always honest and very kind and sweet. But if you don't want to be sensitive then it's ok too. That means you are just a outgoing girl that always go for your dreams. That even greater!!

hah i know that is not very helpful but you can tell how sensitive someone is by listening to what they talk about and how they say it.
it takes years of practice and an active social life to be able to look at someone and tell anything at all about their personalities, but you find out how to look for symbols and clues.

You can tell someone is sensitive by them being very very very shy or not annoying or not by bothering anyone.

well I think if you don't talk much and people don't know that much about you .your sensitive but it all depends on how you act as well as how you present your self.
