1) A type of petrol
2) A brand of jeans
3) Bad enough with Vin Diesel- as a surname
4) Celeb name, see above = goes out of fashion

What may sound cool now may get annoying for him later. I agree with the above, if you really like it use it for a middle name. I think you should choose something that means something to you and your partner and avoid the let's be cute and trendy trap. Like everyone is saying...think of school, job interviews, etc. Also, if you do name him Diesel, please keep that spelling and don't "jazz" it up with Deezhul - I work in a school and that is difficult for kids too, poor little 'Airickah' always gets her name written wrong ;)

I really lk)e it, but i cant help but think Fast and the Furious and Pitch Black when i hear it. It just sounds like a last name (Vin Diesel) but i really do love the uniqueness of it, and its a very strong name.

I think it's a cool and unusual name, but I would do it as a middle name, to prevent the ridicule of other children during school.

Someone famous named their son that.... I think it was Toni Braxton. I personally don't like it. Maybe for a middle name or something
