I need some ideas....?

There is a valentines dance on the 15th at my jr. high school, and my friend and I were wonding what we should wear.She has a date and i might get one. So if all else fails I will have some good tips for her. The downside is the outfit has to follow all school rules. the main ones are:
- nothing above and inch above my knee
- has to be cap sleeved or larger
- and when i lift my arms above my head my middriftcant show

i cannot get by any of these rules (they check every single one before i enter)

also i really dont like skirts or dresses.... but i love jeans..... also i thought the dress over jeans technique was cute and cool, but this one girl said not to do it since we will probably be the only ones. so really i was thinking of a cute, fancy top over jeans, and flats. i have black flats, pink and brown polka dotted ones (peep toe), and sequened silver ones. i will buy other ones if i have to. i need some examples and the places i can buy this stuff from would be the shops at la cant

Wow those are some rules, but you can still build a really cute outfit out of the remaining options. First of all, the dress over jeans or pants is darling! who cares what they say, people may end up being jealous of your creativity and fashion sense! Not sure if its a formal/semi-formal dress, so I can give a few ideas. A dress over dressy pants like this:

Any of the shoes you listed would work with any of the outifts, the sequined silver ones would add a great punch of color and flare! As for jewelry after you purchase your top and bottoms or dress if you go for a dress instead, go to Forever 21 and find jewelry that goes perfect with the top, and shoes, a cute clutch, and pow you will look great, good luck!!

I would say go with whatever you feel comfortable with! The cute shirt over jeans and flats sound really cute, i would toatlly wear it but our dances are semi -formal so we cant wear jeans! Although i wouldnt match the shoes and the top, like i'd go for a pink or blue or even black top and then wear the sliver ones! or go with a more dramatic top and where the black ones, its whatever your comfortable with!
