Your "inner being" or subconscious mind is "reminding" you of something that you've seen before, but didn't recall at the time. So, NOW when you see it, it's like "you've seen or been here before".

I'm telling you now, there is a difference between deja'vu and (oh, I forgot the name of it!!! But it started with a "p"). Anyway, deja'vu is when you have a feeling of or have experienced it but are just remembering it. However the other is when you actually experience it beforehand. I seriously know what I'm thinking before hand and then only catch on. Creepy, i know. But deja'vu is ONLY A FEELING of doing it before hand. The other is knowing exactly what happened had happened to you before. I can remember fights my sister and I have had where I blurted deja'vu and "deja'vued" the whole argument including afterwards. That was before I found the other on the internet. I'd help you with the site if I could, but not able, sorry. Still, a feeling is a long way off actual experience. The strangest is when you catch on mid experience and feel like you shouldn't say anything different than what you know was said. Then you can't deviate from that path.

Deja Vu is being in a place or a situation and it feels like you have experienced it before

On the quantum level of the atoms which our bodies consist of,
i.e. in the energy field of the human body is contained the future as information
(especially the most probable future of the individual).
In certain states of consciousness like dreaming and being semi-somnolent
there might some information about situations in the future be recognised by the ego-consciousness.
They will then be forgotten almost always.
When you then experience the situation, which you have already seen in a dream or in a state of being semi-somnolent,
then you have the feeling to have it experienced already once,
but you cannot remember when it was.

We have all some experience of a feeling, that comes over us occasionally, of what we are saying and doing having been said and done before, in a remote time – of our having been surrounded, dim ages ago, by the same faces, objects, and circumstances – of our knowing perfectly what will be said next, as if we suddenly remember it!

Since it happens so fast and unexpectedly scientist are unable to answer that question." the less technical just call it an oddity of the brain reaching into our inner conscience of the past"

When your brain takes in information it is fed into your short term memory, as you are taking in this information you know that it is currently happening, in the case of Deja Vu, when you are taking in the information, your brain sort of short circuits temporarily and feeds the info straight into the long term memory, so as you are taking in info it you feels like it has happened before because you are reading it from the long term memory.

You don't get it, it just happens! It's when something happens that triggers your sub conscience mind of something that happened before!
