Yes, when you open up your iTunes, pop your CD into the disc drive. You'll see the CD come up with the tracks on it. If it is a CD you purchased, you'll see the titles of the tracks. If you burned it, you'll just see "track 1...." etc.

There is a drop down list of "add CD to your library". When you click on that it will download into your music library.

After the download is complete, hook up your iPod and it transfers into your player.

Absolutely. Open iTunes and insert a CD into the computer. If it's a store-bought original CD, make sure you are connected to the internet so iTunes can automatically grab the album data, like the name of the album/artist(s)/tracks, and (if you have an iTunes account) automatically snag the album artwork for you. If it's not a homemade or mix CD, or you're not connected to the internet, you'll have to change the album/artist/track data later by hand. In the lower right corner, there will be a button labeled "Import". Uncheck any songs you don't want to import, and click that button. Wait for it to finish processing (watch for the little spinning icon next to the track listings), and you can eject the CD, while the music stays behind.

Now, if you were not able to get the track data automatically, you can go trace the songs down in your Library and select them all. Right click and select Get Info (confirm yes when it asks you if you're sure) and you can change the artist and album data all at the same time. Then select just the first song and right click/get info to go through each track one by one and add the track titles in (click Next at the bottom to move to the next track, and click OK when you're all done).
