for windows search
not internet search...correct
if for windows...

run search agaIN AND SEARCH IN HIDDEN FOLDERS AND FILES ALSO AND LOOK FOR
index.dat, those are files that keep ya search history
you can open these files with note pad and delete all info on them,
*to open with notepad right click and select open with and then select notepad*
(most of the info is unintelligable anyways) , select alll and delete, that'lll overwrite them, then save
but DO NOT delete them just overwrite them and leave them blank., that way they'll still be able to store new history.

for internet,
the people above me have you covered

Your busted! You have the AutoComplete feature turned on.

1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. Click the Content tab.
3. Click AutoComplete.
4. Click the appropriate AutoComplete check boxes, or click Clear Forms or Clear Passwords to clear all saved items from the appropriate AutoComplete history.
5. Click OK, and then click OK.

Okay, go to your internet browser, then go to your options.

Go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Delete Cookies

Then click Delete Files

It should delete everything.
