I hit something and black and blue mark shows. I know it will eventually go away but I want to remove it sooner.

In my hispanic families we always used a potato cut in half and the skins peeled away we put it on the spot where the black and blue was, or where we were hit, in either case it fades quick and if you do it early enough it wont even show up.

nicely im no longer a doctor nor am I qualified to make accesments so which you're able to no longer take any benefit in my responce and could seek for advice from a doctor. Now to my responce. perhaps some variety of lotion that may not harm the eyes. perhaps ice press to help with the swelling. diet ok lotion, diet E, diet C, perhaps aloe vera gel. i don't be attentive to in the event that they're going to harm your eyes although. nicely beybye adios

Yes I disagree there is a lotion I've used before that speeds up healing really quick. Go to CVS and there's a lotion with vitamin k in it . I believe the name is VitaK. I think it should be where they have the face lotions.

No lotion will help. You can try putting a warm wet washcloth to it to increase thecirculation to the area. Or exercise so your blood will flow and help the bruise clear up faster.

It will go away when it goes away. Meanwhile, make sure you get good nutrition: That will give your body more resources to mend the bruise faster.

aloe and or vitamin E-- or hey! try the potato or try very cold meat like a steak directly on the wound.
