I ended a fight by canceling my wedding, just four weeks before the worst day of my life! I would most certainly have been at the wrong location had I turned up wearing the big frock etc! There would have been a HUGE fight if I'd gone through with my plan to dump the piece of crap at the alter though!...

Not a fight as such but on my wedding day my mates and my now very ex wife played a huge prank on me..I'm quite a nervous guy so as you can imagine I was very apprehensive waiting at the alter for my bride to arrive...I'd not been allowed to see the dress beforehand and I was stood with my back to the door as she entered the church...I watched as she walked up the aisle with a heavy veil covering her face...As she arrived and stood beside me I lifted her veil and to my horror it was an ex girlfriend they had found.I nearly passed out with horror i thought it was a bloody nightmare the bastards got me big time..........

As you very well know, a Scottish wedding is considered a failure unless a fight breaks out.

In order to maintain family honour, many bridegrooms employ professional neds to ensure that appropriate levels of violence are maintained.
