I use to be really into the pencil eyeliner, but I didn't like how it use to smug on my eyes, so now I'm into liquid eyeliner.... and it's great!!

i like liquid better. cause it gives me the look!! pencil fades to quickly .

I prefer the pencils that you can sharpen versus the pencils that are retractable. They stay on great if you put a little concealer on your eyes, and they are also great if you want to give yourself the smoky look by smudging the pencil. I think liquid liner is a little bit too harsh of a look. I think liquid is also better for the older crowd. This is just my personal opinion though,.

Well, I have to tell you, it depends on the type of person you are to determine what you should use. What I mean is that you have to be really coordinated (lol) to use the liquid eyeliner because if you aren't, well, lets just say that eyeliner is eyerywhere. I know this from experience. If you aren't so coordinated, try the pencil, just for a while.

I like liquid eyeliner better than pencil eyeliner because pencil smudges under my eyes.

It actually depends on the look you want to achieve. Liquid lasts longer and looks better. Pencil kinda hurts when applying it, it does smudge alot or ill fade easily too...
I use kajal and it beautiful and actually makes my eye whiter..
it's what most Indians [i'm not indian though] use , but the trick in applyin it is moderation.......kajal is also a kind of liquid eyeliner

i like the pencil liner because i prefer a smudgy, soft look rather than a harsh line look that u get from a liquid eyeliner (well it looks that way on my eye.. ahahaha).
but i would probably use a liquid liner for special occasions or watever if i actually could master the art of... liquid eyelining.. haha

I use MAC's fluid line that you put on with a brush, you have total control as to wher eit goes. I never used liner before and just a pencil or shadow but I was introduced to this stuff and its great, I use the marcoviolet, rich dirt and graphite ground colours.
