What did you guys think of Tyra's show today?

I thought it was good even though she so dramatic I think that the modeling and entertainment industry sends out a message that beauty= super skinny and slim. I thought that model who was saying that she was healthy was crazy, yes you can be skinny and healthy a lot my friends are but you can't weigh 75 lbs. as grown woman while being completely healthy.

so true, I watched part of it and felt it was the same b.s., but from tyra. All they did was reguritate the same information that we all know.

Whether or not they mandate the size of a model, there's still photoshop to change their image. There's men who drool over the size 2 model that doesn't have hips, **** or a.ss. There's still whole generations of women 15-40 teaching their daughters that you have to be skinny to be love through their actions bestowed upon their daughters. Peers to gang up on the insecure child. Ect.

I'm satified with myself and that's pretty much what it takes. Self Satisfaction.

I get Tyra but there's a difference from being model skinny and unhealthy but its not good just to let yourself go and still become unhealty from being to big.

I agree that Tyra can be a little extra sometimes but I was so glad that she said what she said! I plan on leaving a message on her message board.

that show was wonderful and i wanted to cried when she started crying. :( so sad but i think that it was good because alot of people are scared of getting fat for stupid reasons so i think that it shined the light for models and future models to be that if you want to be skinny you also have to be healthly.

I think she overdramatized the situation for personal gain. But on the other hand she took a bad situation and placed it in her favor. You go girl!
