I don't think I'm neither Republican nor Democrat. These are some things I strongly believe in:
*Abortion is not a women's right
*We should choose more where our tax dollars go and help the poor more
*We should not be fighting in Iraq, rather focusing more on educating the young people there so they are not swayed by terrorists ideas
*Gay marriage should be allowed, because I don't believe the government has a say in that.
*Capital punishment should not exist
*Stem cell research should not be allowed if possible babys to be are thrown away (they literally throw hundreds away,, in the trash basically)
*That there is a strict limit on who can have guns
*All drugs should be illegal including marajuanna unless the drug is perscribe by a doctor
*That most of our taxes go to the people and public schools
What gets me so confused is I seem to fall in the middle.

You seem to have very conservative values, and a very traditional view of things. You obviously favor giving power to the people and and the state governments. You have strong beliefs about the social welfare of the American people, and you seem to desire a separation of church and state. I think you'd do best as as Independent. Much of your description fits in with Republican values, but some key pointers would definitely conflict with common agenda.

Most people do fall in the middle! Stay an independent, because both parties have their strengths and weaknesses.
One thing I have to point out, tho, is that stem cell research will not be throwing away possible babies. That is what is happening right now. Stem cell research uses those cells that are being thrown away and uses them for research, such as finding a cure for Alzheimer's or Parkinson's.

if you believe in education and where our tax dollars should go your defiantly a democrat. The other things like abortion are just smaller. and the abortion and stem cell are the only things the republicans agree with you. and also with stem cell you are mislead they only use the ones that we not used when they had sperm and egg donating, their going in the trash anyways why not try to make a arm and help people who cant walk?

The truth is that i admire many things from both parties. It was hard for me to choose too. I am a democrat though because I had more Pro's for them, I see that alot of your beliefs are Pro for them too, but you have some that are unmistakably pro-republican. I personally think you should join the democratic party, or maybe wait like 3 years and then decide.

It sounds to me you are more or less liberal, democrat. With respect to stem cell research, are you aware that the fetuses that are used, are going to be thrown away, so why not put them to use in this most promising field of science? Anyway, I believe you may be an independent, liberal in every respect other than abortion and stem cell research.

You are an independent. You are a threat to the Democrats and Republicans. You have strong beliefs that cannot be swayed to either side. That is admirable.

Independent or Democrat. Seems most of your positions fall with dems ideology.
Just because you don't believe in all a party's ideology doesn't mean you can't belong to that party. I'm a dem but agree with many republican/conservative policies/stances.

That's the beauty of it. If everybody in the United States was all left or all right, we'd never meet half-way. If I were you, I'd be happy; it's the psychos I feel sorry for.

You should be an independent and support individuals, not entire parties. Look at their voting record online and see if they support the things you do.
