ive been so addicted to neopets.com and my grades in school have been sulking because of it
warning everyone out there
after quitting neopets.....my grades are above 95!

Your grades started getting bad because you neglected your schooling. Neopets has nothing to do with your self-control or lack thereof.
I've been playing Neopets since October, 2001. Nothing in my life has been neglected because of Neopets. I currently have two accounts and five pets (total). I play games on Neo just about everyday, but is anything in my life neglected because of it? No. Why? Because Neopets is a GAME.
If you have problems with self-control, they are your problems. Don't blame a simple game because you slacked off. YOU neglected your schooling. YOU let your grades drop. Neopets has nothing to do with that.
If you choose to blame a simple game for your lack of focus and for the fact that YOU allowed your grades to slip, that is entirely up to you.
Just remember, millions of people play Neo without neglecting other areas of their lives. Many of us have jobs, homes, children and families that we do not neglect for Neopets. Many Neopians have schooling that is not neglected in favor of a simple game.
It is entirely YOUR fault that your grades slipped. Blaming Neopets because you slacked off is a cop-out. Face it. You are the one who didn't do your homework or study or whatever.
Neopets never had a gun to your head! You chose your fate. Don't blame something on a game that is entirely your fault.

What grade are u in?? I have a ton of
Neopets, and I loved playing on it until I was about 7 or 8 years old. Even when I played it though, my grades didn't drop, so watch out for your grades. Try going on www.clubpenguin.com or miniclip, they have more interesting games. U don't have to quit using Neopets, just don't play it as much, and maybe u will find a more interesting thing to do.

Get a hobby and engulf yourself in it. Make sure grades come first. And there's plenty of sites with better games, the 'neopoint' system is completely idiodic, in my opinion-i mean what's the purpose?

i played about 2 years ago...it was fun for 3 hours and then it was one of the more boring games i've ever played...

I played that when i was like 2, and i played for like a day, and i got so bored......i dont understand how that is a question either. An wat grade u in? Aren't u too "mature" to be playing it?

I guess if you have little self-control, ANY game can be deadly...
As for me, I tried it for a week, then cursed myself for the wasted time.
