I agree with you. What else is going to happen as you exit an ice age? You get warmer, that's whats happening on earth. Yes, we put a lot of carbon dioxide into earth's atmosphere, but we are talking about a gas that makes up .03% of our atmosphere....not a lot. And I never hear global warming doomsday people mention that fact that most plants, which process co2 into oxygen, increase there co2 intake when co2 levels rise, and also store excess co2 in there root systems. Also, the earth's co2 content is at one of its lowest points in the history of the earth.
And I love your point about satellites. Who knows what the ozone layer looked like 100,000 years ago!!! Maybe there wasn't much of one! We should be worrying about real problems like over population and disease.

As you suggest there have been several warm and cold periods in the history of the earth over the last 100,000 years or so.
Yet, scientist today are rapidly coming to the conclusion that the present day warming is significantly different and dangerous. Look out for the news on Friday February second.

To make a declarative fact that there "are no longer any flaws" expresses a dramatic loss of medical coaching and is a very undesirable mirrored photograph on the educational device. the place has the Socratic technique long previous and why have such lots of colleges stopped using it? For real technological information, noticeably much no longer something is without errors. Even the thought of Gravity first positioned forward by potential of Isaac Newton is being revised. extremely this isn't any the place close to so easy as Newton thought... you go with for some flaws, ok right here they are: The hypothesis' and such are examined by using laptop fashions in basic terms. No 2 fashions end with the comparable consequences. maximum fashions can not even reproduction their own consequences two times. the thought is according to a postulated cascade result. maximum who communicate approximately international warming the two do no longer understand this or fail to point it out. there is not any empirical data to assist pronounced cascade result. NASA recently released a study showing that there is severely extra longwave radiation (warmth) escaping the earth that ANY laptop fashions enable for given modern-day concentrations of CO2 in teh environment. it is actual data that factors of the thought are flat incorrect. modern-day international warming thoery as postulated by potential of the IPCC has been examined to have underestimated the end results of photograph voltaic variablity by potential of a minimum of a ingredient of 6. by potential of definition this means that the IPCC over priced the consequences of greenhouse gases. there are various extra, yet lamentably i'm at artwork and can desire to show soccer for my son this nighttime so i'm out of time.

I agree with the "wake up" call.
On current projections, most people seem to agree there is a clear trend that it's getting warmer.
Please don't pretend that any human action can change this - no matter what the 'western powers' may agree to, China is going to industrialise and that's that.
So, again , WAKE UP - if you live on the coast or in a River valley, MOVE NOW (whilst you still can).
UK residents might want to consider emigrating ... for example Canada & Alaska might be good choices (again, don't buy a house on the coast :-) )
Consider what job you want to be doing in 10 years - because some jobs won't exist anymore (for example, I bet there's going to be a lot less demand for Heating Engineers :-) )

I certainly don't hold your viewpoint. Current Global Warming is largely the result of human action, specifically since the industrial revolution.
In large part, it's due to increased emisions of gases such as Carbon Dioxide - CO2. We now have most climate scientists agreeing to this point, hence the international action groups and reports that we've been seeing the last few years.
It seems that the point of no return is very imminent, within about 10 years. Remember, theories are just that, and are best guesses.

Lets be realistic... NOBODY KNOWS WETHER GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL OR NOT! Do you believe the weather forcast for next week? Next month? Next year?
I am not saying that its not true, but the fact is we need more science. More peer reviewed science before we durastically alter our way of life. The left in this country want you to believe in global warming so you can vote for them. The environmental groups want your cash. We need real unbiased answers.
The sad truth is that all the information is contradictory. Melting glaciers in Greenland? Glaciers in Iceland are growing. We would all do well to remember what every college freshman has pounded into thier skulls: Correlation does NOT show causation!

Currently I am buying up future waterfront property in the Arizona desert, and to be on the safe side I will be packing a Musgrave .458 big game rifle - in case any of those Polar Bears happen to still be floating on one of those icebergs - and ends up in Arizona at my doorstep
Polar Bears are pretty angry at this global warming, so its better to be safe than sorry

I use to question the theory of global warming, and then I did a lot of research and I came to the conclusion that we are in trouble! We need to do something now!!!

I have to wonder whether we're truly to blame for all this. Might it not be happening were we not polluting?
