It would depend on who the other people were andhow many people. Do these people know eachother? Some times people are the one child in a family who is the abused one.Maybe it is the words you choose when speaking. Do an evaluation of yourself to see if there may be some reason these other people are telling me this? If there is something you may be saying or doing that might make someone say this.....then do what you can to change for the better. If you know in your heart that you have not hurt anyone, judged anyone or said anything to purposely hurt any one Else's feelings then( like telling them how they should believe or think),then keep doing the best that you can and try not to worry over what they have said.

Personally? I'd probably be totally devastated, then go on some crazy crusade to redeem myself. But the fact is that a "good person" is a subjective term. We're not all nice all of the time. There are some who may be generous, but not so kind, and vice versa. It's pretty complicated, depending on how you define a good person.

Ask them to give specific examples of things you said or did that were bad. Now explain why you did those things. So much of life is muddled by misunderstanding. Focus on the issues rather than getting even for perceived insults. If the other person won't listen, then understand that they're immature and don't take offense.

I would be hurt of course. Find out what they are saying and then if you feel the need to change or re-examin your ways then change. If you truely believe you are a good person the that is just what you are.Nobody really knows the true meanings of your heart.

First of all, consider WHO told you this. Are they jealous? Do they even really know you? The fact that you are worried about it, tells me that you're concientious and strive to be a good person.

In MY book that means you're pretty OKAY!

If one person says that to you, don't mind them, but if numerous people have told you this, I would take a look at myself and try to figure out whats wrong with me.

If ten people tell you you're drunk, even if you haven't anything to drink, go lie down.

If one other person told you that you were not a good person, investigate.

If ten other people said it, start to figure out how to change.

I guess that would depend on how arrogant and/or confident you were in yourself. perhaps if you weren't a very confident person then eventually you'd begin to think the people were right and maybe become paranoid and self conscious about it.

Your perception of yourself is of utmost importance to only two people. That is yourself and in the eyes of God. That's why I try to go by this guiding principle in life:" TO THINE OWNSELF BE TRUE". You can fool everybody in the world.sometimes or all of the time. But you can NEVER fool GOD and the person who looks back at you in the mirrror everytime you glance in the mirror.
