Some users believe that paranormal or supernatural forces are at work in spelling out Ouija board answers. Skeptics believe that those using the board either consciously or unconsciously select what is read.
Ouija boards came into existence as a parlor game in the mid-1800's, when spiritism and channeling were at the height of fashion. The word "Ouija" is a blend of the French and German words for "yes." Adolphus Theodore Wagner first patented Ouija boards, sometimes referred to as "talking boards," in London, England on January 23, 1854. In the patent, Wagner called his invention a "psychograph" and its purpose was to read the minds of people with "nervous energy." By 1861, Frenchman, Allan Kardac, was describing the Ouija board as instruments with which to open communications with the spirit world. In seven short years, the Ouija board had evolved from a mind-reader to portal of communication with the dead.

Well, you can use it for doing your homework and possibly getting some help in the process. Than you can blame the bad grade on an evil or dumb spirit.Afterwords you can look in the mirror and ask yourself if it was really just you after all. I bought an old one one time because I thought it was an antique. It might have some spiritual attachment such as a history from past users. All I have to do now is ask a real psychic. Is there such a person? Hmmmm. Ouija boards are for entertainment for you some spirit or the stockholders.

the ouija board is a spirit board that you call the deciest.and than it goes on from there.it is a way to convert your psychic abilities and to learn how to use them.alot of ppl say that the ouija board is evil.it isnt evil until the person uses it in an evil way.by using the board, you must have trust and faith in using it.you have to have a clear mind in order to use it.and you also have to believe that it is real.you say that you dont believe in it,than it will not work for you.the fact the reason why you have to believe in it,is the fact of calling on the spirits.and if you dont believe in them, than it wont work neither.there is some reason for you to not believe in it.for the reason why i have no clue.but until you start believing in the board, than there's no need in fooling with it.
there are some ppl that dont believe in it.but that's just them.

its the thing that your supposed to be able to use collective enrgy of people sitting in a circle to contact a spirit (boll***s basically lol) but you have letters a to z, yes and no, goodbye, on a board, everyone has a finger on top of a glass, then it sort of moves about spelling stuff. Your supposed to be able to get responses from questions
i dont like them. Apparantly there was a board game made here in the uk years ago that got banned for some reason.
I think it could be unlucky though, i wouldnt do one

It's supposed to be a way to talk to spirits. What it is usually, is involuntary movement of the muscles.
I do personally know one woman that had a bad expirence with one. It told her her mother was going to die, and she did a few weeks later. The girl's mother had died, so I knew that to be true. She said the board started to get more negative, telling her she was going to hell, and cursing her. After that, she burned the board. Since I personally know this person, and I could see the fear in her when she was telling me and some of my friends this, I have no reason to doubt it.
Even most occultists will tell you to stay away from it, so you know it's a bad thing!

They're supposed to tell the future. Two people put their hands on it and it slides to give answers. The myth is that it moves itself, but usually one of the two people will "cheat" and move it. The board itself has all of the letters and 1-9 in numbers. The thingy has an opening that encircles the letters/numbers. I have never used one, but I've seen and heard about them.
