I could write it. Email me, and we'll talk about it. And just in case you are wondering, yes, I have experience. I actually am a writer.

A lot of freelance sites, including Elance, offer profiles of ghost writers, and you can put your project up for bid. Keep in mind, writing a memoir is a long process. You're probably going to pay several hundred, maybe a couple of thousand dollars, or even more, depending on how much of the story you have written, what kind of notes you have, what kind of interviews have to be done.

Some people may suggest that you can get a writer to do the job for a portion of the sales when the book comes out, but that's not likely. It is very very hard to get a memoir published, and no professional writer is going to accept an offer like that.

The alternative is to take some writing classes, read some books, get some practice, and do it yourself, then hire a book doctor. That's probably a better idea in the long run.

What you want is a ghost writer. You can find a lot of ghost writers who advertize in writing magazines, but most of them live a long way away and can't do you much good. For a memoir you need to really work with someone close by so you can work hand in hand. Try going to a local college or newspaper and asking around for a freelance writer who would like to pick up a hip-pocket deal.
