any suggestions? god my mom just does NOT understand.

Hi! I can see both sides here. It depends on your skin really. Saying you shouldnt be wearing any make up if your 15 an under is a bit tight. I started wearing concealer when I was 11! my skin was very acne prone and I wouldn't leave the house without it. It made my life liveable and bearable. my younger sister was not allowed any make up til she turned 14 but loved nail polish and had a vast collection from when she was 12. my youngest sis who is now 18 started when all her friends did which was from 13 onwards. I think you should have a chat to your mum about why you want to and try to negotiate on what and how much. Im sure you mum is just worried your doing it for the wrong reasons ie boys and sex!which is scary for her lol :-) I can't see why some concealer and mascara would be a prblem. I have had to parent my youngest sister from when she turned 15 & onwards, so this is why i can see both sides! Good luck and I hope you can work it out xx

It depends on how old you are. I know there are lots of girls that are way too young to wear makeup. If you are pre-teen, then I think you are too young for makeup.
Ask your mom her reasons. If you are older, maybe work out a compromise with your mom. Maybe she will meet you half way.
Sometimes young girls wear way too much makeup and often don't get it right. Start small and use makeup sparingly. Perhaps start with a soft lipstick or a little mascara. Let your mom get used to it slowly rather than have to see a big change to her little girl! That's sometimes part of the issue too.

You did not state how old you were? I started wearing some make-up when I was about 14. I believe any age before that is too young. Kids grow up fast enough as it is. I have seen some of these kids today with way too much make-up on and it looks cheap. Talk to your Mom and ask her if she would let you put on a little eye shadow, and lipstick. And show her what it looks like. She might change her mind.

If you are 13 or less, then forget about it. If you are 14 or more, then persuade your mom, to let you wear just mascara. And please just a little bit. . .
The way I done it was that when I was about 15 I would put a little bit mascara and lip gloss at home, and when I got to school. I would put some more, and then take most off before leaving school.Then after I while, my mom thought that I was doing Ok, and just let me wear make up. . .
At first I just bought cheap mascara from my own money. And honestly, if you are 14 just get your own mascara, and start wearing it, but only a little.

well, how old are you?
If u are 13-14 well, i would ask her if u can start of with cover up, and then work your way to eyeliner, but just stick with black that way it adds defintion to your eye color.
But to make her relize your old enough, ask her how many kids in TODAYS time wear make up? These days 6th graders are wearing it. Let her know u wont abuse it either. Tell her to give u a chance. If she thinks ur painting your face with it, then she can ban it.

nicely i'm 14 occurring 15 & i began at 13. before everything , i did no longer even ask my mom. I had borrowed some makeup from somebody I forget approximately?? & i began off by using only a splash & by using a splash I advise I wore only mascara & my entire family contributors enjoyed it. only reason it wasn't that a lot & nonetheless regarded stable on me. Month by using month i began wearin greater. nonetheless to no longer a lot in spite of the undeniable fact that , now all that I placed on is commencing place ( no longer ALOT in spite of the undeniable fact that , I slightly placed on any anyhow , I even have genuine soft clean epidermis anyhow ) than I placed on mascara ( appropriate & backside ) next I placed on only backside eyeliner , yet 0.5 way for the period of , only reason it makes ur eyes greater effective. commencing from the outdoors of ur eye , too the middle. Than I even have this easy Barbie crimson lipstick yet with the intention to grant it that Jenna mason lips ( seem her up ) I placed on just some concealer on my lips , rub it in , than placed on the lipstick over it plus it additionally makes it survive longer & greater valuable. nicely that's largely it.

how old R u? and if you going through puberty and might hav acne then use sympathy: MOM I HAVE THIS HUGE ZIT CAN I USE YOUR CONCEALER???? u get to use the concealer but since u keep asking to use hers u suggest buying your own so u dont use hers up. ther u go u hav your own concealer. u just keep gettin higher until u hav the basics. or just try telling her all the reasons u should be able to use it. or make a deal with her, ask her to be able to use one makeup product, then she can set an age foe the makeup products u want. try everything you can but i also dont no how old u are so...i hoped this helped though!

well, you shouldn't wear so much makeup that its obvious that you're wearing it, my mom hates it when i wear makeup, but if i just wear a bit of mascara, or natural colored eyeshado and lip gloss, you'll be fine. Don't wear too much eyeliner and mascara though cause its bad for your eyes

well by acting frustrated like that and by you telling her she does NOT understand(which you probably do vocalize to her quite offten) shows her that you are immature.i would eat a little humble pie and acknowldge that she just might be right in her decision. if you do that she will see that you are being mature and sooner than later she will probably decide to let you wear a little makeup.

You never said how old you were which might help.
Wearing makeup isn't all that great.Once you start,it's like you can't stop.And you don't look the same without it....and people notice lol.Or people who do know you notice.So don't do anything to drastic when you do get to start.
