Iam a grade 8 ESL student.My ESL teacher asked student to write a story. But I don't know what to write about. Could you please tell what to write about to be a good story and get good mark?and interest every one mayb?

Write about something you have experience with.
Write about how you came to this country and what it was like when you first arrived.
Write about something interesting that happened in your home country before you came here.
Write the life story of one of your parents or relatives.
Write about a frightening experience you or one of your family members has had.

Write about the aftermath of World War III where you were, miraculously, the only surivor and now have the entire world at your feet. Complete freedom is now yours where you can go where you want, eat what you want, and do what you want. Towards the end of the story, write that loneliness and lack of a social life is slowly getting to you even though you have not a care in the world. During the final chapter, you suddenly meet another survivor, and you two begin an entirely new civilization--this time a peaceful one with no hate or wars. Happy ending!

Make it about this guy.. You see..He was a great scientist he invented a time machine, he and his buddy Marty were going to use it to go back to 1948(i think) But right as the scientist was finishing getting his time machine ready, a Gang of thugs rolled down the street. They knew what the crazy scientist was up to, and they wanted the time machine for themselves. So they shot the scientistst. Marty saw this, so he did the only thing he could. he got into the time machine and, ready or not, he activated it by going a speed of 88 miles per hour! He then went to tell the younger version of his friend, who was alive in 1948, but apparently hadnt aged at all, that he was gonna get capped! He then went on to date his own mother, and almost erased himself from the history books. But Eventually he got it all streighened out. He fixed everything then somehow with alot of luck managed to go Back to present time, finding his scientist friend alive and well. the end
