If they are just be honest with him about it & tell him that you do not share their views. If they are not then let him meet them so he can see how they treat him.

Well, the first question is, are they? If they are and you really care about this guy then it's your job to run some interference for him. Nothing hurts worse than having an in-law make derogatory racial remarks in front of the couple and not have your significant other stand up for you.
If they're not, you have some educating to do with your BF.
But first you need to know which tack to take. Look at your family's comments and attitudes closely just so you really know.
Oh, and the same goes the other way around for his family too. Tit for tat is only fair.

tell him the truth, but let him know how you feel about him & that u want to be w/ him regardless. & if ur family doesn't approve, they will eventually.
