What are the pros and cons of it? I have a decent body and I've heard that the pay is good.

I'm not going somewhere sleazy, but I need the money and I'm a good dancer. I would never have sex with a customer or anything, I just want to dance and get paid.

I've dated strippers so here's what i've experienced...

Pros- Good pay, pretty easy work as far as physical labor goes

Cons- guys think you're easy even when you're not, you could be asked to be in amateur porn (good or bad depends on the pay), you will meet some of your "customers" out in public and they may or may not harrass you, you will have to keep up on your apperance, pics of you nude could wind up in places where you don't want them, if you have a boyfriend other guys will bug the crap out of them so he has to be understanding.

Good luck if you need anymore advice i'm an e-mail or text message away.

The only PRO is the MONEY!
The CONS I think all depend on you. Aside from drunks and smoke(depending on what state you're in) you have to deal with all the behind the scenes stuff. What goes on in the back with the other dancers. You have to be a strong person, be able to resist temptation. It's not unusual for a customer to up the pay for a favor or service and the money may become very tempting. The drugs use/abuse. You have to be a strong person and be able to resist all of that.

If you go in there do your work and get out you should be ok. Don't get sidetracked with all the extra stuff that comes along with that lifestyle because then the money just gets spent on that lifestyle and you might as well work a regular 9-5 and avoid all of that.

Also, please have good money managing skills. I know way too many strippers who have nothing to show for all that work. They spend the money with the thought that they'll make it back in one night and soon enough it's like that all the time. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!...so you can do something meaningful with it later.

Pros: The money is good, it can be fun, you probably won't work every day, and you will have creative freedom with your shows, appearance, and costumes.

Cons: You need more than the ability to dance and a decent body. You need to be a good conversationalist, have confidence, and a thick skin. Customers and dancers can be mean and insulting. UV lighting and cigarette smoke isn't good for your skin, especially if you tan. Your friends and family may not be supportive of your career choice. It's definitely not an easy job.

I have my share of both positive and negative experiences, but try it and see for yourself. Participate in an amateur night or talk to some of the dancers at the strip club where you want to work.

Good luck.

Wow, maximum, no longer all, of those solutions are from very uninformed human beings. In some places particular dancers could make a pair of thousand a evening . although realistically, maximum do no longer. assorted entertainers finance them. similar to you may, a automobile. now and returned a relatives member or client should help with some or all the money. maximum generally a club won't pay for an augmentation. interior this context, EE will stand for Erotic Entertainer ~ In Arizona; *maximum Erotic Entertainer's do have "abode expenses" and tip out 10% or greater of their earnings .(a number of those info are very distinctive for each club ,city and state) *interior the final 4 years or so ,interior the state of Arizona EE's are required via regulation to acquire an EE corporation License and renew it as quickly as a 300 and sixty 5 days. If convicted of prostituion or any felonies interior the final 5 years of an application a license would be denied. some cities require fingerprinting and a history verify. there is often a value for this. *The assumtion that EE's make "a lot of money" via uneducated human beings, motives stinginess on the clientele area, assuming EE's "have already got too lots" which leads to an EE working "for unfastened". (EE's usually won't flow to somebody else's artwork place ,get below the effect of alcohol, impolite, & belligerant and ask them to artwork for unfastened!) *EE's are maximum generally independant contracters and are expected to yet do no longer continuously, adhere to club regulations and state rules. i will end here because of the fact something does no longer be realevant to the unique question.

It's great money and safe as long as you're in a decent place, not some sleazy dive. You also need to know how to dance.
It's not a lifetime career.Lots of losers.

I'm guessing that you'll get propositioned a lot and probably approached for parts in porno flicks. You'll have to change your name to 'wonderlove' or something. If that doesn't put you off, go for somewhere less sleazy and you'll be okay.
