I used to use one when I worked full time and it was fantastic value. A big black bag that would take me a couple of hours to iron would cost £7.50. It always came back 2 days after being collected all neatly folded or on hangers.

The only downfall was if you sent something that you needed the next day, but you soon get organised after doing it a couple of times.

The cost depends where you live but they are very useful. Round here, 5 shirts cost £10 as a package. A skirt would cost £1.50 and a pair of trousers/jeans £2. I don't send bedsheets and towels because they are easy to iron and it doesn't really matter if you leave them un-ironed. My bill every week seems to be about £18 - mostly shirts because I hate doing them. I think it could be half this price in Middlesbrough, Carlisle, Wolverhampton, Taunton or Kings Lynn !

I've just done poo loads of ironing and was wondering the same thing. Trouble is I bet they don't put your clothes away afterwards and I hate doing that.
We have a local company called Ironing Bored. That always gives me a chuckle.

I found a great little local company, very good prices, pick-up & deliver etc. But now the lady owner is very ill & the co. has had to fold (Pardon the pun!) When she was away I tried 2 other places & they were rubbish & dearer. I'm back to doing my own again, but as I'm ill myself, it takes forever. Nice little business for a BLOKE to set up maybe?!
