My husband loves rap music. I despise it! I told him he either has to listen to classical music or none at all. Do you ladies tell your men what to listen to also? Men need to learn their place. I'm still working on my husband, but he's getting much better.

No I don't control what type of music my hubby listens to. We both have our own types that we like and we compromise when we are listening together. I think trying to "control" a man is just as bad as a guy controlling a woman. Compromise when your together, but you aren't his mommy!!

I let my b/f of six years listen to whatever he wants thankfully he likes a broad range of music. Do you seriously want a spineless husband because i know i wouldn't how boring. Think about this long term please. It could make your marriage extremely boring.

My husband is free to do whatever he wishes, the same goes for me. If you really forbid him to listen to what he chooses, then I fear you may have a very short marriage, and I may be seeing you on Divorce Court......

you're not his mother so why are you telling him he can't listen to rap music?? What if he doesn't like your kind of music?? What if he started telling you you couldn't wear make-up or watch soap operas or tv period??? You're ucky you even got the poor bastard to marry you cause frankly hunny you're gonna end up divorced if you keep that up.
I do let my husband listen to whatever he wants to and as loud as he wants to in his car.
He's a grown man and he's got his own set of balls, it's not up to me to bust em....................

ok.Well I let my boyfriend listen to whatever he wants and so do I.We both like all types of music.He listens to rap and hip hop sometimes and the only time I make him turn it off is if it is vulgar and my daughter can hear it.
