it might be a good idea for you to wipe and reinstall ur computer because it should play most games fine at lower resolutions tho crysis will be a very powerfull game due to it being direct x 10 game (your card is direct x 9) and may not play at all .the only dx10 card available is the geforce 8800 and that is 250 quid plus that and compaired to a new core 2 duo chip your processor is slightly lacking

The trick question is what resolution are you trying to run at? And what details? It should be running like 1024 by 768 with a geforce 6800. Any higher will be getting very slow.

How about you try and re installl windows xp cause i think it has something to do with your registry and some missing files..this is due to installing and uninstalling softwares from your computer...remember when uninstalling a program there is bound to be a data being removed which might be needed by other programmes...do not install games that you know u will uninstall the next day...ur just going to meesss up your registry.....If u dont believe me try PC DOC PRO and scan your hard drive believe me your bound to have missing files on your registry....

Your Pentium 4 processor, even at a speed like 3.0Ghz, has trouble running high-demanding games like Just Cause. Upgrade to Core 2 Duo and you should be fine.
