"If a girl gets sexual pleasure from riding a horse, does the horse suffer? If not, who cares? If you French kiss your dog and he or she thinks it's great, is it wrong? We believe all exploitation and abuse is wrong. If it isn't exploitation and abuse, it may not be wrong."

I totally agree with you on that chrage. If you got to PETAkillsanimals.com, you can see actual documented proof of just how many animals PETA really does kill.

DID YOU KNOW: PETA kills more animals every year then it saves.

Lol, I definitely don't support PETA in any way. They support and secretly endorse terroristic groups such as the ALF. Too bad, really. They have a lot of 'pull'. They want you to believe they are so wonderful and they want to help the animals. HA! If you research them for 5 minutes you will see that they have terroristic ties and they are NOT animal welfarists, they are all about animal rights, which can get mighty scary, folks!!! While I certainly believe that animals have the right to be well taken care of and abusers should suffer consequences, I don't like the thought of animals being our equals, legally speaking. Now that doesn't mean that I don't spoil the heck out of my pets (a word that PETA hates, I'm sure), I am only referring to it in a legal sense.

Anyway, I think that the woman is a nut job and I'd hate to be her neighbor!

She only says some things like that because there are sick perverts in this world that do get pleasure from exploiting animals. It is her job to know about these kinds of things and yes being exposed to that kind of stuff probably does make a person a bit weird.

as wild as some of the things that animal rights activists fight for, they don't really bother me. But what does bother me is when people abuse animals. Like when a family in upstate new york moved out and they left their horse in the barn (basically to die), or when a dad gets mad and throws their cat into a grinder, or dog that beats by a child because that's the only one they can beat.

You have to think of it from THEIR point of view.I know it can be frustrating to see what abuse goes on to animals and everyday people eat meat and dairy from factory farms and not think twice about where it came from,it sucks because this abuse goes on daily and there is nothing you can do about it.Just like it may piss you off to see someone who throws away food and isn't grateful for what they have whent you and they know there are tons of starving kids around the world.PETA does some good, but mostly bad.I pretty much cried for vegetarianism/veganism and animal rights/welfare when I read Ingrid's qoute "even if animal testing resulted in a cure for aids,we'd be against it."Because I'm vegan people automatically associate me with PETA.I'm against cruel animal testing, like sewing a monkey's eyelids shut and when they are abandoned and left to starve, there are humane and inhumane ways to do things, alot of animal testing leans towards the inhumane way.
