The best thing is to get a tub with warm water, and some soap - you might try getting some special stuff from the pet shop.
Don't put a whole lot of water in there, cos you want him to be able to stand up with getting his nose under water.
Gently lower his feet into the water, letting him get used to the feel of it. He may kick a bit but if you do it slowly, talk to him and stroke he should be fine. We've washed all our guinea pigs and once they get in, generally they don't mind. Make sure the water is warm.
Then just start soaping him up and covering his lower body and back up to ears. work the soap around like you wash your hair, wash his feet and make sure his belly is well washed.
Rinse again with the warm water.
Take him out, place him on an old towel and wrap him up like a baby. Dry him carefully and don't put him back until he's warm and dry again!
It's also a good idea to clean out the cage before this, so when he gets back in he will stay clean and dry.
Hope this helps!

Be careful if you wash your GP in the sink, they can jump out and injury themselves in the fall to the floor.
Don't be afraid to get your Guinea wet, just make sure you do it in a warm draft free room and dry the little guy well when you are done.

well i just fill up my sink, not deep enough to drown them, but fair, and wash him with special guinea pig sopa lol. just dry them off until they are not wet or they will get sick. as for the use of as little water as possible, i just spray them off with a little spray bottle thing and dont use soap. i dunno if it works, but haha thats what i do.

to keep him warm after his bath, put an incandescent lamp shining in his cage. This will warm the cage and dry him out faster

there are cloths you can buy, typically made for ferrits and rabbits. and you just wipe them with the cloth when necessary.
