maybe you can convince your mother to go with you to see a dentist.and maybe he can convince her, if it's ncessary for you to wear braces.maybe your mom would buy you braces, but she hasn't got enaugh money;so if your old enaugh try gettin' a part-time job and save money for the braces.if not...i don't know...try save money instead of buying chocolate, juice, i don't know..stuff like that - "the lunch money".good luck!;)

Don't be a selfish brat, there's something you can do.
What is there for you mom to believe, you don't need see through braces, you want them. Be happy your mom got you the ones you have, she probably had to work a lot to get them Some parents can't afford braces for their kids at all. If you don't want them, ask her to take them off. You can get the see through ones when you get a job and earn the money.
In the meantime go to school and learn to spell, if you spell like this, you will never get a job.

Sounds like you have two choices: metal braces or f'ed up teeth.

Personally, if I was your mother, I'd leave you with f'ed up teeth. You're so ungrateful! Get off Yahoo Answers and Google braces... find out how much they're going to set your mother back. Then, if you're still convinced she's so rich and mean, go right ahead iwth your little hissy-fit like a three year old in the candy aisle at Wal-mart.

you are really going to have to work on grammar and vocab. before your mom will ever understand u...TRANSPRENT braces are expensive for anyone no matter how rich. The truth is is that metal braces seem like the end of the world but I swear, almost every kid gets them sometime in their life. Just go to your school and look around at how many you see. Why would they make fun of you for "having Christmas Lights" if they have them as well? beauty is pain and sometimes this is just what you have to do....you'll be glad you did

you can start by growing up. to bad if you look like a Christmas tree. at least your mom was able to get your teeth fixed with a set of braces, no matter how bad they seem to look, just think in 5 years you will be happy that you did receive ANY braces you got because those braces straightened your teeth. if you were my kid i would smack you for being so ungrateful. money does NOT grow on trees!

1. Use English
2. Stop trying to make your mom feel bad for not having the big bucks so you can have the fancy braces, be glad she cares enough to get you some at all.
3. If you don't want the braces she can afford, tell her to forget it and keep the snaggle teeth. My daughter whined like you, now she wishes she had worn that Christmas tree.

Don't worry about it. As a fellow soon to be brace face, I went through the same thing with my mom. I was so freakin' mad at her and I cried for a while. I figured that they aren't permanent, and I could just learn to smile with my mouth closed since i hate the way they look. The fact that your mom doesn't have enough money, blame it on Bush.
(^_^) Best of luck

There are more important things in life than see through braces. Get an education and get a job. You don't know the value of money.

Be thankful you can at least get the metal braces. We cannot afford braces of any kind for our kids. They have to grow up with crooked teeth.

Periods are our friends. Braces serve a purpose, do you want crooked teeth as an adult? Or have braces as an adult because you worry about the opinions of others? My 13 year old is looking forward to his braces, he sees them as an attention-getter.

If your mom can't afford it, then be respectful of that. You are lucky to be able to get braces because many who want them can't even afford the metal ones. Just think of it this way, you only have to wear them for a few years and after that it's beautiful teeth for the rest of your life!
