I mean now that he's got a Golden Globe for "Dreamgirls" do you think he's maybe regretting this movie, especially for those who were maybe considering him a good dramatic actor then to see this coming out? I dunno my cousin raised this to my attention.

Well, I think Eddie's just trying to make money when and where ever he can. He's stuck in the comedy genre and will be there until he retires. Plus, I believe the whole fat costume thing has made him so much money before with the "Nutty Professor" and "The Clumps", that he's going to try to squeeze the whole gag till the end. No, he's not regretting it, he's making money.

Nah Ben Kingsley did Bloodrayne so hey there's no shame for Eddie.

Even George Lucas had Howard The Duck.

Some of Eddie Murphy's movies are too immature. Him dressing up like oversized women is getting too boring. The two movies I like him in are, Trading Places and Shrek/Shrek 2.

I don't think he regrets it. I am sure he knew there was a possibility that he'd win an award. But hopefully from now on he'll stop doing these "fat suit" characters!

he's a comedian for one and besides he probly thought it would be fun to do... some people don't just act to get rewards. take Robin williams for example he acts in movies he liked the scripts to.
