I admire her,I think she's one tough cookie and she knows how to give a good interview, dig deep into issues that people normally wouldn't answer but somehow she can b/c she wants them to let out their inner demons to restore their sanity if there's certain skeltons in the closet and there always is!If I was a celebrity and I had a secret; more than likely she would get me to let it out b/c I would trust her,she would comfort me and I would feel comforted b/c she'd feel like a sweet Grandmother who only wants to help me.The warm in her voice yet she can be tough and get through cruel issues,is what makes her for who she is. Anyone can talk or not talk but someone who has good communication skills mixed with love and respect, as well as honesty;will get you to tell them everything without making you feel threatened. That's a big issue b/c not everyone will talk b/c other people will talk times 3 and they don't want their skeltons out. I would tell Barbara Walters my whole life story and I would somehow be okay with it b/c it would get out eventually due to nosy,crazed paparazzi or gossips!

I agree with the others who said she is a great role model especially for women. She has had a lot of people try to pull her down in her career and still she has had a lot of success. When I grow up I want to be just like her!

I think she was talented in her younger days but now I think its all gotten to her head and she thinks shes God and can control the universe with her little show called the view. I used to have respect for her but she now has lost alot of respect from alot of her fans and people in general, she needs to go ahead and take a rest enjoy what you created instead of destroying it and getting a bad image.

Babs Is okay . She does much better with her journalism career than on the View but she shows she has a human side just like everyone else.

She talks about herself quite a bit and i think the Botox she's admitted to having has stiffled her ability to have normal facial expressions, but even though she talks like a baby it hasn't hurt her reputation in the journalism world and for that i can respect her.

I think she's very good at what she does and has been very successful for decades. She also looks very good for a woman of, I believe, 77.

why is she backing rosie up too me this upsets me cause donald trump gave miss american a second chance after admiting to drugs. What difference is it to rosie and why does Barbara contine to back her up aren't we up suppose to help each other. I think we need to learn to learn compassion especially Barbara.
