She is not colic, She is fussy all the time. She also has alot of gas all the time. She is fussy all day and all night. Is it because her stomach cant handle the milk?

it could be....but it could also be the position you feed her in or the bottle you feed her from. I would suggest speaking with your pediatrician or you could speak with a speech-langauge pathologist in your area. Most can work with mothers who are having trouble with feeding their babies.

Assuming that there's nothing stressful going on at home, it could be the milk formula. You can also switch to a hypoallergenic milk formula that could help her.

When my son was switched to Prosobee, it was because he spit up all of the milk formula he received. My doctor told me very frequent spit up is a reason to switch to soy formula, and he's been a lot better. For fussy babies though, soy might help, but she may need something that is broken down more in a hypoallergenic formula. Or, sorry to say, she just might have a fussy personality. Ask your doctor for advice on the formula.

Switch. Colic is caused by missing enzymes in the stomach. Your child is suffering from colic, and the child does not need to be fussy at a certain time for it to be colic. Don't be afraid when she spits up more in the first couple of days of the switch, but she should be used to it by the 3rd or 4th day.

You need to ask your doctor. He will know more about your baby and possible causes.

Is your home stressful (no offense) but if there is yelling or tension or total lack of routine, your baby may just be stressed.

My little brother was origionally diagnosed with colic, but when he still had it at 15 months old, they checked him out and realized that he was suffering from some serious stress and trauma issues because he saw his dad beating my mom and screaming at her. At 13 years old, even though they divorced when he was 18 months old, hes still screwed up from what he saw during that time.

Establish a routine, keep things calm and happy. It may be the formula, but it might also just be stress, so talk to your doc.

Yes you might want to give it a try it seems like most baby's do better with Soy formula. But if it's not that then it might be the brand formula that doesn't agree with her. But I would give the Soy formula a try first and see if that helps her.

Formula is hard for babies to digest the only food there bodies are designed to handle until they are six months old is breastmilk. Switching may help ease some of her pain or it could make it worse. You shouldnt make any change without consulting with you doctor.

You might also try an infant gas drop medication. My ped suggested this and it can be bought over the counter at a store like Wal-Mart. One brand is Mylecon but I just used the store brand. My daughter did just fine after I started using those drops. I just mixed them in her formula and things were all good!!!

I wouldn't change her formula without talking to her doc. first.

She might need other formula, or just to be burped more often. I had a friend that simply didn't burb her son enough. He needed to be burped more often than most babies.
She also might have something else wrong, you never know.
I would definitley talk to her doc before changing anything

ok s she is little. she has to get used to plain milk. you could switch her to soy or goats milk but dont make it permanent or she wont get used to the other. u better be giving her homo milk. feed her milk a little less and start wiith a lil biit of solids.
