I'm confused on this one! I heard on talksport yesterday that he was spotted in ManCity's club shop signing shirts, but then he played last night and the transfer deadline's passed. I think he definantely go perhaps in the summer.

No... you need at least 4 top strikers in the Premiership and although Mido hasn't done enough this season to be classed a top striker it would of left us short (in height as well as numbers) if wed let him go to Man City without signing a replacement.
Defoe & Keane dont seem able to play together and like Jol i prefer the big man & little man up front, so if wed let Mido go wed of been left with just one big man (Berbatov) who is currently injured.
Also i reckon somewhere within Mido is a 'goal hungry top class striker' waiting to come out and id rather see that happen at Spurs rather than at Man City or any other club. Mido should now get a run in the team whilst Berbatov is out injured so we could see that happen soon.

Yeah he should have gone - How many strikers do Spurs need!

He wouldn't have just faded away at city - there is quite a depth of quality at city - but the strike force is horrendous with the exception of Vassell who is being let down by the rest of them, this is why we are in the bottom half of the table.

Contary to other city fans i know i would love mido to come to city i think that he is an excellent player - with a hell of a lot of potential, something i think that pearce would have got out of him: lets not forget that hes managed to calm down Barton, Dunne, Fowler even Thatcher, from the beginning of his tenure here.
