Things you can't do...Hide from the world. Pursue to intently. Force the issue. Be cruel to people. Be phony. Be selfish.
You can't force someone to love you.
Things you can do...Believe in yourself. Keep busy, do things you enjoy. Don't be afraid to meet people. Be yourself. Be open. Be helpful to others. Smile a lot. Shape up a little, at least make an effort. Be responsible. Be kind. Be happy. Get involved.

I know the feeling...they say do not try too hard and it will happen when you least expect it...ehhh what do they know! LOL Just be yourself and get involved in things or hobbies that interest you and groups out there for it...good luck!
