Only 2 or 3 of my friends are going to the Sadie Hawkins dance and they have dates....if I go without one, do you think I'll still have fun? Wouldn't it be a little akward?

They are awkward, but I found that very exciting and interesting at the same time. If you go with an open mind, you should be able to have alot of fun.

Isn't the point to invite someone to a Sadie Hawkins Dance? If so do that.
If it is to just ask someone to dance go and do that also.
Live and take chances and make your own fun.

Sadie Hawkins dance are for those of us girls to ask a guy. So make an effort to ask a fella, if you don't know of any then go stag but it could be awkward.

Wait a minute.......... you said "if I go without one". who said you couldn't take a date with you? It may take nerve, but go ask the guy you like! But still, even if you don't have a date, you will still have loads of fun. No, it's not awkward.
P.S....... i have found that sometimes its more fun to not have a date because then you can dance with whoever you want to, and any un-taken guys can be yours, if you go talk to them.

I bet you would still have fun. Because you wouldnt be obliged to dance with just one person. you could be free and do with you want without someone looking for you every 10 minutes.

You should definately go! You don't have to have a date to have a good time and I'm sure your friends would be thrilled for you to come along!
