Wasn't it like a week before the royal rumble, John damaged his spleen after his match with Umaga? He was suposed to get a procedure done but he left the hospital AMA? If this is so wouldn't this be so dangerous and could kill him? He seemed just fine durring RR.
Me thinks it was media hype! feh.

The "spleen injury" was an on camera angle to try and put Cena in the underdog role in the RR PPV match. He didn't really get injured.

As far as WWE's storyline yes he was hurt. In real life he's fine. I have been a wrestling fan for over 20 years. Wrestling is just a soap opera. Plain and simple.

If Cena did injured his spleen the medics would be trying to save him from drowning in his own blood. It was a stupid and an unrealistic storyline.

he wasnt really hurt, the storyline goes that he was sent to hospital but refused to let them admit him because if a wrestler gets admited to hospital there is a certain amount of time they cant wrestle for. all just a storyline

He was supposed to show up at a local hospital but at the very end refused to, (acting tough and enduring the pain.) I guess he endured it and that was over for him by the time Royal Rumble came running down the street.
