No, it takes a belly button one year to heal and your stretching stomach will just complicate the healing process. Plus being a new hole it will stratch drastically and at some point you may have to remove it and it will probably end up healing back up and being a waste of money

NO!!
Your body is about to go through some changes and having your belly button pierced while pregnant is not a good idea.
It just leaves you open to infection.
I had mine done 6 years before I got pregnant and I had to take it out when I got pregnant because as I grew it hurt like h*ll.
Anyways, most piercers/tatoo artists won't do it if you're pregnant. Too many liabilities.
Congratulations and wait until after the baby is born. It'll be good motivation to get back in shape.

Absolutely not. A belly piercing can take up to a year to heal. I knew a girl who got her belly button pierced while she was pregnant. It got infected and she got really sick. You always feel things a lot worse when you are pregnant. They make belly rings that you can wear while you are pregnant. That is if you had you belly pierced before you got pregnant. A lot of places won't do any piercings on pregnant women because they say that it can cause miscarriage. I don't know how true it is, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Definitely wait. I had mine pierced for years before my second child, and even switched to an acrylic ring when I was pregnant and left it in with no problem. But I would never have gotten the piercing while pregnant - you have no idea how big your belly is going to get, and these piercings require extra care and cleaning daily for months to prevent infection. Just wait, and get your piercing as a reward to yourself when you lose all the baby weight!

in basic terms use anti bacterial cleansing soap. be certain its non scented anti bacterial cleansing soap. What I did became into take a bathtub attempt to no longer get the universal cleansing soap on the piercing and while your carried out wash your abdomen button piercing with the anti bacterial cleansing soap to get the surplus shampoo and what no longer off. and that i might clean it the nighttime of having it pierced. you should use sea salt answer additionally combination a million/4 teaspoon non iodized sea salt (no longer table salt) for each 8oz of heat water. as quickly as you have it blended it would be simpler to pour it right into a shot glass and positioned the shot glass over your abdomen button and enable it soak for 5-10 minutes. or you may desire to purchase H2Ocean it somewhat is an already blended sea salt spray. Its difficult to detect in shops the place I stay in California, so I in simple terms have been given a huge element of it from eBay for like $12. Use the sea salt answer 3-4x an afternoon and the antibacterial cleansing soap 2x an afternoon. i might do the sea salt soak some hours once you have it carried out. And save cleansing it from there.

My doc said I had to take my navel piercing out early on in the pregnancy, and I didn't know why but now I am really glad I did!
Otherwise it would have stretched so badly I think it would have torn my skin, or at least be very very uncomfortable. Your navel area stretches sometimes unpredictably as your baby grows.
If you are pregnant, you shouldn't expose yourself to the infection risk, anyway. You should focus on being as healthy as possible for your unborn baby & take your vitamins & eat healthy!
good luck.

along with everything everyone else has said, something people don't mention is that cute little innie bellybutton you've got now (i know they're just made to be pierced, right?) is probably going to become an outie by your 6th or 7th month. they usually go back to normal, sometimes not for a year or so, but they do. meanwhile your body is 80something % more likely to reject ANY new piercing while you're pregnant, and that hurts your body & your wallet!
you'll be glad you waited, believe me!

wait, trust me the stretching of the belly button will likely stretch out the piercing and make it look bad. I have to do mine over again because it is sooo shallow now. Just wait.

no dont do it yet. your skin is going to stretch out and you will more then likely end up taking it out anyway in a few months. just wait till after you have the baby and get down to the size you want again. and decide if thats what you still want or not.
