just make sure your AGP port is x8 as some PC motherboards still only have x4, so you'll get less performance

The card you purchased is most likely an AGP card, and will thus not fit in your computer. You need a real PCI graphics card, and they are very expensive if you can still find one.

A major problem some consumers face when buying brand name pc's is that they often buy without considering future needs. Some computer companies will sell pc in which there is no dedicated graphics slot because these motherboards are cheaper, and the price of their PC is much better against a similarly speced computer with such a slot in. The insignia D400 is on the discontinued list which means that it was purchased a long time ago or if you bought it recently, you were buying an End of Life desktop. Your best course of action is to buy a new computer and this time keep future expansion in mind.

As for the card return it to the company you bought it from. If you specified you wanted a PCI card then they would have to order you one (can't see why they would stock it).

Your motherboard does not support AGP or PCIe graphics, so make sure you don't buy an AGP or PCIe, that includes the BFG card that was recommended, you will be sort of limited on the type of video card your going to have to buy since it has to be a PCI video card. Hope this helps.

It depends upon the specific card models and whether the case has something like a drive cage sitting in front of the PCI-E x16 slots, but in general yes.
