First and foremost, see your family doctor, there are prescription deodorants/antipersperants. Also, you need to find out if you are allergic or sensitive to a specific ingredient in the products in case you encounter it in the future. I would not use perfumed soaps or shower gels since they don't last and wouldn't block odor anyway. Use a plain deod soap like Dial, Lever2000 or similar, and take/carry individually wrapped wet wipes (Wet Ones) with you. Whenever you duck into the restroom you can wipe under your arms and dry with tissue to keep any bacteria from forming as the bacteria is what makes the odor, not the sweat. Once again see your doc as Botox is even used as a last resort to stop sweating. There are plenty of options, don't make yourself miserable.

This has happened to me before therefore, i can truly feel your pain. Normally the problem is the anti-perspirant that causes the problem. Because of this factor your body will produce less sweat causing all of the bacteria to remain inside your body. If you purchase just plain deodorant with out anti-perspirant you will begin to notice a difference. Just remember it is what it is and that is just deodorant. You may also want to use powder or apply more than once a day to keep odor down.

If by rejecting you mean that you're allergic to most deodorants on the market, I would suggest using an all-natural deodorant from a naturopathic store. My dad has this type of allergy and is only able to use what his dermatologist recommended so look into seeing one.

Otherwise if all else fails, use isopropyl alcohol and apply baby powder over it once it dries. Keep alcohol wipes on you for refreshing throughout the day.

Good luck!

What do you mean by "rejects?" Allergic reaction or it simply doesn't work?
I heard that white vinegar can be used as a deodorant. I don't know about its effectiveness but it's worth a try.
Good luck.

Your body odour can sometimes be attributed to your diet. For instance, if you consume a lot of dairy your body cannot process it and therefore it comes out through your sweat glands. See a nutrionist for more info, also if you are overweight it is always going to be an issue as you will sweat more than the average person.

go to a pharmacy and purchase CERTAIN DRY..it's amazing. you can find it in the deodorant section. you put it on at night...let it dry...and it works the next day. sometimes i've even put it on in the morning before my deodorant. it's a great anti-p. and helps you sweat less....sweat causes the odor. you need to use deodorant with this product....do not put it on one night then not wear deodorant the next day- hope this helps!

I would talk to your Doctor about it. My brother had a problem pretty much from puberty on...and no matter what deodorants he tried it didn't help. It turned out it was a glandular problem..it is all settled now. Don't be embarrassed to talk to your doctor about it...that is what they are there for! Good luck.

Try spraying a little body spray on your underarms first to open your pours. Most body sprays have alcohol in them. Applying warm water to your armpits before applying the deoderant may, just as easily, do the trick.

i asked the same question the other day. i have a really bad problem with sweating too much under my arms, everyone told me to use antipersperant instead of deodorant, but i've used both and nothing seems to work. maybe if you tried it, it would work.
