I have to write an Evaluation Essay. If anyone's not familiar with that, it means that I have to write an essay explaining why something is the way it is. It's similar to an argumentive essay except there are both positive and negative facts in an evaluation essay.

The examples in our book gives an essay on why chinese restaurants are becoming one of the best places to dine out at. However, I want to do something more broader. My friend has a great one, and her topic is "Everything Old is New Again."

I really wish I could have thought of that, but does anyone have any phenomenon or just a topic that they think would work well for an Evaluation Essay? Thx in advance.

Well, here you are on Yahoo Answers. Why not evaluate it? Take each separate feature, such as the thumbs up and down, the stars, the point system, and decide what's positive and what's negative.

And be sure to send Yahoo Answers a copy of the essay, especially if you get a good grade.

BTW, "more broader" is redundant. The word "broader" means "more broad."
