put them on your finger but not too much.
someone else could put it on for you, but it might look and feel strange.
put a little bit of glue on your finger then put more if you need it. stick the nail and let it dry than do the next.
hope that helped. 8)

I would put the glue on the fake nail, it is easier and the nail doesn't get stuck the wrong way.
It would be great to sit down at a table or something and have someone calmly out it on. It's better to have someone put them on for you, but doing it by yourself is perfectly acceptable.
To make it less messy, try not to use too much or too little glue.
With some practice it will be easy!

If you're going to do them yourself, put a small drop of glue on the fake nail. It's easier to do them yourself, you can test the fit better than someone else can.
I splurge and go once a month to get mine done - I get tips with acrylic overlay, costs about $30 the first time and $20 each time after that. They look so much nicer than the ones you do at home, and they last SO much longer.

Have someone else put em on for you. You prolly want to put the glue on the nail, and then on your finger. Apply the nail, and press firmly for about 10 seconds. Make sure you go the full ten seconds, otherwise you heighten the chance of them falling off right away. Good luck!

i always put the glue onto my own nails, because then i didn't have to try to figuare out if they were on the right spot.
*but just remember, the glue isn't too good for the nails if you wear fake nails quite often*

Take it from a girl who loves fake nails, & has done it both ways. Don't do it at home, have a professional do it. The home kits don't look good as time goes on, and they won't last as long. But be careful who you let do it, because if they don't do a good job your nails will pop off easily.

if you don't have experience putting on fake nails, i'd get a professional to do them for you. don't know about where you live, but around here (so. cal) you can get a full set for $15-20. more than if you buy the ones at the drug store, but really those ones looks sooo awful.
i personally think that 95% of the time they look nasty even if you do go to the salon, but i know that a lot of girls do like them.
if you must have fake nails, definitely go to the salon.

glue on the nail and not the finger. you can do it yourself. and then file and shape and color. if it comes off glue it back again and very important - do not let the fake nail touch the base cuticle so that it will come off easily afterword and will not hurt you.
